Hampshire Police Authority
Hampshire Police Authority is an independent organisation that is responsible for overseeing the work of Hampshire Constabulary to make sure that it operates as efficiently and effectively as possible within available resources.
The members of Hampshire Police Authority represent the voice of the public on policing issues and their primary concern is to make Hampshire and the Isle of Wight even safer places.

Police authorities are independent of the police. The police service that covers Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton and the Isle of Wight is Hampshire Constabulary and it can be contacted in any of the following ways:

By Road: From the North (via the M3).
Leave the motorway at junction 9, join the A272 and follow the signs for Winchester. The PA offices are at the top of the High Street above Connells Estate Agents, opposite the statue of the Man on the Horse.
From the West.
Leave the M4 junction at 13 and travel south along the A34, then join the B3420 Andover Road which takes you into Winchester.
From the South (via the M3).
Leave the motorway at junction 11 and follow signs along St Cross Road and Southgate Street into the city centre.
By Train
The Police Authority offices are about a 10 minute walk from the Train Station.
PARK AND RIDE JUST £2 TAKE TO STOP JUST OUTSIDE BARCLAYS BANK ON JEWRY STREET. SHORT 1 MINUTE WALK UP THE HILL.
